I am broadly interested in applied entomological research addressing agricultural pest management. In the past, I have worked with insect pests in different cropping systems such as cotton, vegetables and nuts. My approach to pest management is to understand the ecology and behavior of the insect pest of interest using observational experiments and molecular techniques and utilize this information to formulate management strategies to minimize the reliance on insecticides.
