Graduate Research Assistant
Auburn University
Auburn, Alabama, United States
I am a PhD candidate at Auburn University under Dr. Amanda Strayer-Scherer and Dr. David Held. My primary research focus involves identifying and characterizing plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) strains to achieve sustainable agricultural in peanut and turfgrass management systems. As a PhD candidate in a plant pathology program, my project focuses heavily on biocontrol against Rhizoctonia solani which causes large patch in zoysiagrass and damping off in peanuts. With a background in soil science and entomology, I also have developed a secondary focus in soil ecology in these systems.
