Alexander Fast was born in Saint Augustine, Florida in 1997. He is a 'triple gator' and obtained his B.S. in Environmental Management in Agricultural and Natural Resources from the University of Florida in 2020, an M.S. in Plant Pathology in Prof. Nian Wang’s lab and is now a PhD student in the same department in Prof. Erica Goss's lab.
